This is MANNFALL

annfall is the solo black metal project started in 2008 by Count Corona Australis.

The name of the band roughly translates to slaughter in old Norse. The vision for the music is to create traditional raw, hateful and obscure black metal as well as to recreate an atmosphere of ancient and pagan times. The words are inspired by that of nature, pagan folklore, hatred and contempt for modernist and Christian values. There are also various other themes covered within the lyrical content but...those are somewhat hard to explain as they deal with ideas which are clearly insane.



The sound of the music contains musical elements from many different Influences. To be specific you might say its crossed with Countess and the works of the LLN (The Black Legions) of France as well the early works of Bathory and also a lot of NSBM. Do not confuse MANNFALL for NSBM however, because MANNFALL is not Neo-Nazi, and not political in any sense. Mannfall is also of course a project which is constantly in flux, I never know what direction i want to take the music in until inspiration actually hits me. Hence the mix of black metal, ambient and grvbmeatvl.



Mannfall also belongs to the online black metal syndicate known as The Order of the Silver Night. The syndicate consists of bands such as: Fel, Wiccademous, In Cripta, Morte Lune, Wiht, Isen, Pvtǽnfediăvl, Cairn, Daghkagg and Illusory Arrhythmia.
